    • How will humans get to Mars?
There are currently no launch vehicles large enough to put a complete craft capable of going to Mars into orbit in a single launch. Therefore the craft will have to be constructed in space from elements launched from Earth. How do we build a craft in orbit around Earth? Who will build it? Who will pay for its' construction? What are it's design requirements? What might it look like based on the launch limitations?

    • How will humans live on Mars?
For humans to live on Mars they will need to be protected from the environment at all times. They will also need constant air, food and water. And that's just the human basics. They will also require electrical power, sanitation, exercise, recreation and communal areas. They will need the ability to move around on the planet surface to perform missions. They will need tools and vehicles.

    • How might humans return from Mars?
It needs to be considered... It would be really useful to be able to return samples from Mars to Earth for analysis and research. For humanitarian reasons, it would also be a good idea to consider a vehicle that could put humans into orbit from the planet's surface where they could dock with an orbiting platform and then return to Earth. What would it take to launch a vehicle from Mars? What type of system would provide the best solution? How could it work?
